I think I've finally found something I can stick with :)  The photo-a-week project is definitely more manageable that last years Project 365.  What I also like about this project is there are no rules as to how the photo can be taken; meaning you can use your cell phone camera, a point and shoot, dslr, etc.  The photo doesn't have to be edited or anything fancy, it just has to be your favorite

Project 365 - Day 21 A 'falling feather' from my green cheek conure Emeril.  It looks like it is laying on some type of surface, but it's actually in mid-air.  The blurred (bokeh) background is a tall plant/tree in our kitchen.  I used my zoom lens which was able to take a closer-up photo than my regular lens, so as result everything but the object in focus (the feather) is blurred. Happy almost-New Year!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I had a really great day with my family. We had some plans for both Christmas Eve and Christmas day that had to be tweaked at the last minute, but everything was great even so. I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! For me, it is the official start of the holiday season.
